Nano Privacy Policy
Nano is committed to ensuring and protecting the privacy of our users. This policy describes what user information we collect and how we use it. Please read on for more details about our nano Privacy Policy, which applies to your use of the nano service (the "Service").
To improve our Web site, we use our Web usage logs and cookie data with standard tools to understand how people, in aggregate, are using the site.
We request email and demographic information as part of the user registration process for the nano service. We report Web site owner contact information gathered from multiple sources. This information can be edited or removed by the site owner by using the nano Site Information Editor.
When using the service, we collect information on Web usage which remains anonymous. This information is used in the aggregate to cluster related Web sites together. Further, we use this information to determine popular pages and sites by measuring clicks within a site and the length of time a user spends on a page. This information is used to enable community features within the nano service.
The nano service uses cookies to remember the toolbar settings and preferences between sessions. "Cookies" are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive. To remember Service settings between sessions and to improve the Service, we use cookie data with standard tools to understand how people, in aggregate, are using the Service. Our cookies do not contain any personally identifying information.
We also use our data, in aggregate, to create reports and summaries for internal use and external sale. We do not include our users' email addresses in these reports. Nano may provide aggregate statistics about our users, their traffic patterns, and related site information to reputable third-party vendors, but these statistics will include no personally identifying information. Such disclosures will exclude your email address and password and other personally identifiable information, unless you expressly authorize nano to disclose such information or unless nano is required to disclose such information by any applicable law or legal process served on nano.
You also agree to provide current, complete, and accurate information when registering for the Service or when otherwise prompted to do so by the Service. Without limiting any other right of nano, if any information provided by you is inaccurate or incomplete, nano reserves the right to terminate your rights to use the Service.
